Budget gives helping hand to local Glasgow charity

17th February 2014 - Glasgow based charity, PEEK (Possibilities for Each and Every Kid) has been given  a helping hand in their valuable work with local children by Budget Car Rental, who provided the charity with a free hire car on Monday 10th February .

 

The charity, which aims to improve the quality of life of children, young people and their families through a number of creative initiatives, took advantage of Budget’s charity fleet offer which saw five Budget Car Rental vehicles being made available, free-of-charge, to registered charities, not-for-profit organisations and community groups in Glasgow in the new year. 

 

PEEK used the car to organise and run their weekly Street Play activity, which encourages children to make more use of parks and open spaces through free play. Street Play Rangers were on hand throughout the afternoon, providing children with a role model and someone to listen to and turn to for advice.
